
The Austrian Chamber Orchestra was founded by fine musicians in Vienna. The orchestra repertoire consists of works for chamber orchestra from the viennese classism to contemporary music.
All of the orchestra members are selected Viennese musicians a.o. from the famous Austrian orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Folks Opera Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of Lower Austria.
The members of the orchestra are mainly educated from the University of Music and performing Arts in Vienna and other Austrian music conservatories and are continuing a distinguished tradition of Viennese orchestra culture. The orchestra performes at highest artistic level and also support contemporary composers as well as discover extraordinary young musicians.
The Austrian Chamber Orchestra is against racial discrimination and is an equal opportunity organization.
